Packing Light When the Weather is All Over The Place

Packing light is a challenge.

you NEED this packing list.jpg

But packing light when the forecast says there will be high highs and low lows? That's even more of a challenge.

Those extra layers can equal a bulky heavy bag. But you don't need that much. This list will fast track you to a packed bag that is light weight but with enough of the right layers to keep you warm and cozy.

This list is proven. It was tested by my sister on a trip several years back. Her weeklong trip took her to the Middle East to visit me so I got to see her wardrobe in action. We visited a warm desert area near the Dead Sea as well as a high plains micro-climate that had just seen its worst winter storm in years. We're talking snow one day and dry heat the next. Urban explorations and off-road hiking.

The pieces in this packing capsule are classics that are always in style globally. You'll look put together no matter what the trends are where you go. Plus your shoulders won't ache from carrying more than you need. Pain-free is always a good look.

The List

I've included everything she brought with her (not just clothes) because I know that packing is more than just clothes! She fit all these items in the a "weekender" style bag in the image below on the right. Impressive!
